Something to celebrate? Urban Cafe is Newcastle's newest and coolest events venue, and is the ideal place for any celebration. We’re conveniently situated within Dance City in Waterloo Square, just off St James’ Boulevard in the heart of Newcastle.

Urban's contemporary outdoor and indoor spaces, super sound and lighting, late licence and friendly, flexible staff make it the ideal venue for any party, celebration or event. So if you have a birthday, christening or graduation coming up or want to start getting ready for next Christmas why not get in touch. Room hire is free and we can accommodate parties of up to 100 guests.

Open daily from 8.30am to 7pm Urban is the place to catch up with friends and colleagues, or simply soak up the uber cool Dance City vibe. 

An enticing menu created from fresh ingredients every day awaits, along with a huge selection of hot and cold drinks, beers and wines. We‘ve plenty of room inside our recently refurbished premises, or you could opt for a table in the sun outside.
